Reach Associates provides professional learning opportunities for PreK – 12 Teachers (Literacy, Literacy in the Content Areas and Special Education), Teacher Leaders and Administration. Reach Associates advocates research and instructional practices aligned with the Science of Reading, creating a more effective learning environment for implementing the standards.

Reach Associates was founded in 1999 by education consultants Cathy Feldman and Lee Kappes. Reach Associates provides professional learning opportunities, instructional leadership guidance, virtual coaching, curricular and assessment materials for implementing standards-based instruction to schools , districts, state education departments and private organizations.

Writing Units created by teachers for teachers.

At the request of teachers, Reach has created a standards-based writing curriculum.

Each unit includes:

A listing of the embedded grade specific standards
A unit overview including a suggested scope and sequence of daily teaching points
Teacher-friendly, daily lessons plans with intentional instructional language
Exemplar texts
Teacher and student resources for daily lessons
